The basis of working with chakra stones or crystals is that each stone has the purpose of magnifying or balancing the specific energy you’re focusing on. In order to choose a healing crystal, you have to look at the makeup of the stone, including its energetic quality, color, and the intuitive or personal resonance you have with it.

Working with chakra stones and crystals allow you to balance the subtle energies within your body. A chakra is an energy center of spiritual power within the human body. There are seven chakras within us that are attributed to our overall health and wellbeing; Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown. How Healing Stones Work

Gemstones have long been used for healing--of mind, body and spirit.
Many energy healers and other alternative healers today incorporate them into their work.
The most common way to use chakra stones is what might be called "laying on of stones." That means placing it near or on the chakra location on the body. You can also hold them in your hands, keep them in your pocket, or wear them as jewelry.  As with any attempt at energy work, focus and set your intention for what you are trying to accomplish. You can treat the seven chakras at one time for total balance, or you can focus on one particular chakra if you feel the energy is not flowing properly. Energy is channeled and magnified through the crystals, in resonance with the vibration or frequency of the chakra or chakras you’re focusing on.

Gemstone and Crystal Jewelry

Wearing healing stones as jewelry has been renowned to be effective in keeping your chakras and your spiritual energy in balance.  You can wear stones that support general wellness or those that are for a specific issue. They have been used for thousands of years for protection and other energy work as well.

Stones and crystals can be used for physical healing purposes, reflect emotional or spiritual aspirations, or you may just be attracted to a color that resonates with you that day. They are powerful amplifiers and may radiate or attract energy both in and out through their natural qualities, symbolic and cultural meanings, as well as the personal affinities you have with them.
 
As with all gemstones, you must “recharge” them periodically. This can be done by placing them in the sunlight, moonlight, smudging them with sage or oils, rinsing them in a saltwater bath, or burying them in the ground overnight.

Supernatural Stones

Gemstones and crystals have been used by mankind since the beginning of time for healing, grounding, balancing, channeling, and protection.  They are often tied to specific cultures and spiritual practices. What  Stones do we use?

Our team members use a wide variety of stones as healing and spiritual aids. Some of our favorite stones used in our paranormal investigations are: Black Tourmaline, Labradorite, Obsidian, Amethyst, Quartz, Celestite, and Angelite, and Onyx

Black tourmaline
Repels lower, harmful frequencies.
This crystal is a superior protection stone. It creates the equivalent of an electrical force field around your aura so that lower vibrations and psychic debris will bounce right off you. This is the most commonly recommended crystal for protection. It is a good choice for a daily protective crystal.

Labradorite
Shields against psychic attack, fixation and ill-wishing. 
Psychic attack can take on many forms, both from the living and the dead. This also applies to people who are fixated on you in a negative way, who want something from you (that you don’t want to give), and/or who are pulling on your energy to fill their own needs. Wearing Labradorite is like placing a shield or coat of armor over your heart chakra. It keeps you protected from absorbing the pain of other people or spiritual entities.

Obsidian
Protects from fixation, and absorbs negative energies. 
Black obsidian matches the frequency of banishment, which is why it’s such a powerful crystal for work that involves the breaking of curses, hexes, spirit attachments, returning of energy to its sender, and so on. If you feel like you’ve got a black cloud following you around, or if you’re veiled in dark energy, or feel you have been cursed, it’s best to wear it until such time as you resolve the issue. It’s also a powerful healer and helps you become aware of the shadow aspects of yourself that could be contributing to your situation.

Amethyst
Promotes mental and psychic clarity, to ward off danger, and bring balance to ones conscious and unconscious mind.
Amethyst’s ability to expand the higher mind also enhances one’s creativity and passion. It strengthens the imagination and intuition, and refines the thinking processes. It helps in the assimilation of new ideas, putting thought into action, and brings projects to fruition. It is a talisman of focus and success.

Clear Quartz
Quartz can help open up the mind and elevate negative perspectives to more enlightened point of view. Its metaphysical purposes are vast, from helping to expand consciousness to facilitating open communication and stimulating the chakras. For those needing clarity of mind, clear quartz healing properties will eliminate energy blockages and allow energy to flow smoothly throughout the body.

Celestite/Celestine
Useful when trying to contact spirit guides. Also helpful to remove stress and tension in the body. Celestite has a very high vibration that promotes infinite peace and spiritual contact to the angelic realm. It brings balance and alignment to your body, mind and spirit, and teaches you to trust in the higher power and in your own abilities. Celestite enhances channeling, and promotes soul healing. It aids in psychic development and spiritual and karmic growth and promotes peace.
 
Angelite
Spiritually, Angelite is the stone of compassion. 
It transmutes pain and disorder into wholeness and healing, opening the way for spiritual inspiration.  It creates a deep feeling of peace and tranquility.  It helps connect to universal knowledge and raises awareness.  Angelite is good for facilitating rebirth, stimulates healing, and opens psychic channeling.
 
Onyx
Stone for absorbing negative energy. Onyx is a great gemstone to use when paranormal investigating because it prevents drain on your energy. It helps to protect against psychic attacks, and can transmute negative energy.
